Alberta Laser Skin Treatment Course & Coolsculpting Technician Training Updated

Sep 13, 2023

This updated certification program from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (587-400-1389) helps students to complete their training in popular beauty and aesthetic techniques and includes all the required certifications to begin a new career in a MedSpa, or working from home.

The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, a training and certification resource for MedSpa workers, has expanded its Basic training program to help new students complete their schooling in as little as 8 weeks, with full certification for up to a dozen of the most popular procedures.

More information about the Dermysk Academy, a full list of included certifications, and details about individual courses can be found at https://academy.dermysk.com/

While the updated Basic training provides certification for up to a dozen common procedures, including laser skin treatments and fractional ablation, graduates can also continue to improve their skills with enrollment in the Advanced course. This course requires at least 5 years of MedSpa experience, or previous graduation from the Basic course, and includes training in complex procedures such as stem cell treatments and Body Sculpting.

With the latest updates, students can qualify for Basic training with no previous qualifications, aside from a high school diploma or some form of relevant work experience. These students will be given access to the Dermysk Academy’s online training program, where they can complete the educational component of their certification, at their own convenience.

After completing the online courses, students will receive one week of practical instruction at the nearest Dermysk Academy to gain experience with medical aesthetic tools, procedures, and practices. After the hands-on component of the training is complete, students will be fully certified, experienced, and ready to open their own businesses or begin new careers in MedSpa clinics.

Graduates from the Dermysk Academy will be enrolled in the after-graduate support program, which helps aestheticians find job placements, training opportunities, and industry connections. Students may also return at any time to upgrade their certifications with advanced courses.

The Dermysk Academy has also made several updates to its Master-level training program, which allows students to complete the full range of medical aesthetic certifications in a single course. This comprehensive program provides each graduate with a Master of Medical Aesthetics certificate and requires no qualifications, though it may be restricted to certain highly dedicated students.

An Academy spokesperson explained, “Our Master Medical Aesthetics Certification course unlocks a wealth of opportunities. This certification not only offers access to working in high-end spas and clinics but also paves the way to owning a successful medical aesthetics business if desired.”
